Firuzabad was the residential city of the founder of the Sassanid Empire, Ardashir I. Since 2018, the city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the “Sassanid Archaeological Landscape in the Fars Region.” Similar to our other projects in the region, we have prepared a feasibility study for the conceptual reorientation of the Firusabad complex.
