Exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Centre. Artefacts from the Azerbaijani and Oriental collection of the Georgian National Museum. Most of the artefacts from the Gajar period are the world-famous canvases, miniatures, ceramic and metal works, textiles and carpets from the reign of Fatali-Shah. Fatali-Shah was aware of the powerful impact of the visual arts and often used architecture, figurative and decorative art to express his power and achievements. The exhibits on display include a portrait of the ruler.
