Großer Bahnhof. Wien und die weite Welt

Vienna 2006

Client: Wien Museum

As in all large cities, Vienna’s large train stations have had and continue to have a formative importance for the city and its inhabitants. The exhibition organized by the Wien Museum in 2006 traced the history of Vienna’s major railroad stations – from the first plain “reception buildings” to moderately modern structures of the post-war period and the most recent projects. A special focus was held on the large train stations of the 19th century. Our founder Horst Campman, back then the founder and CEO of ARTEX, was responsible for the exhibition installation for this project.
