Austrian artist Marko Lulic engages with architecture, monuments, public space, and the legacy of modernism in Eastern and Western Europe on a variety of levels. Lulic’s work Museum of Revolution, installed on the construction site as the first temporary intervention for Belvedere 21, questioned the current meaning of the terms “museum” and “revolution.” For Lulic, the starting point for the concept of this was the Muzej Revolucije in Belgrade, which was never completed but only finished up to the basement ceiling.
