Dürer – Cranach – Holbein

Vienna 2011

Client: Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna

The exhibition was devoted to artists’ views of the human being at the transition from the late Middle Ages to the early modern period in the German-speaking world. Works of art from European and American collections – including paintings by Albrecht Dürer, Lucas Cranach, and Hans Holbein, as well as masterpieces of sculpture and draftsmanship – showed how the human being became the focus of artistic interest around 1500 and artists advanced to become explorers of their contemporaries. Our founder Horst Campman, back then the founder and CEO of ARTEX, took care of the showcases production and object mounting for this exhibition project. Through our longtime sales partnership with ARTEX Art Services, a leading manufacturer of high-quality showcases and other furnishing elements, we are able to offer our customers the best solutions in the areas of showcase construction and object assembly.
