Art of the Islamic World from the al-Sabah Collection, Kuwait

Vienna 2011

Client: Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna

The al-Sabah Collection of Islamic Art is one of the world’s most important collections of Islamic art. The exhibition of the same name at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, covered a period from the 8th to the 18th century and included 350 objects representing all major artistic media – from weapons, jewelry, manuscripts to textiles, metalwork and woodwork. The way objects are presented plays a crucial role in a successful exhibition, especially when different artistic media are involved in the show. We consult our clients on this matter and help them to find and implement the best solutions from the fields of exhibition graphics, exhibition design, object mounting and object lighting.
